Behavior & Safety Policies
We promote a Respectful, Inclusive & Diverse culture in all of our programs – Any untoward behavior (including coarse language, bullying, disrespect, aggressive or unruly behavior) towards other participants, Organizers, Facilitators or any other people in the same premises that the programs are run, will not be tolerated. We reserve the right to cancel registration or suspend or dismiss the participants from the program they are registered, based on the severity of the behavior.
Email Policy
Email is our primary mode of communication for us to keep you informed about the current program you signed up for and also keep you posted on our Upcoming programs. This is mandatory as all program communication (including prep-work, assignments, assessments etc.) will be sent via email.
- Billing email address will receive a confirmation email of the registration.
- Participant email will be used for communication about program communication to participants (including prep-work, assignments, assessments etc.) will be sent via email. If you do not wish to share the participant email address for any reasons, please enter an email address where you’d like the program communication to be sent to.
Aside from using emails as our primary mode of communication about program activities, assignments, assessments etc, your email address might also be added to our monthly Newsletter to share about our upcoming programs. If you find you no longer wish to receive email communications from us, you may unsubscribe to the monthly Newsletters at any time by clicking on the Unsubscribe link or by letting us know and we will act on your request.
Responsible Technology Use
Participants will need a device to use certain Apps/Websites for Online polling, Assessment Quiz, Etc. So we ask all participants to bring their own devices – laptop, tablet or mobile. These digital activities will be less than 10% of program activity. Outside these program activities, participants will be asked to put their devices away and will be allowed to use their BYOD during the early & late hours. Participants are expected to follow responsible Technology usage and not disrupt the class. Video games will strictly not be allowed.
Consents & Waivers
Consent for Emergency Medical Care
As a parent or legal guardian of a participant, I hereby grant my permission to the organizers, it’s directors and employees, take said participant to a doctor or hospital and hereby authorize medical treatment, including but not in limitation to emergency surgery or medical treatment, and I assume the responsibility for all medical bills including ambulance costs, if any. Further, should it be necessary for the participant to return home due to medical reasons, disciplinary actions or otherwise, I hereby, assume all transportation cost.
Liability Waiver
As a parent or legal guardian of the participant, I, on behalf of me and on behalf of the participant I am sponsoring, assume full responsibility of any risk of personal injuries, sickness, damages caused by the participants or any personal loss or death. I do hereby fully and forever release the organization, it’s directors, employees and members from any and all liability, claims or demands for personal injury, sickness or death, as well as property damage and expense, of any nature whatsoever which may be incurred by the participant and I assume full responsibility for any expenses incurred by damages caused by the participant.
Email Consent for Parent & Participant
As a parent or legal guardian of the participant, I provide my consent to receive communications electronically at my email address and I provide consent on behalf of the participant, to receive communications electronically.
Media Release
As a parent or legal guardian of the participant, I understand and agree that there will be photos, videos, etc captured as a part of the program by the organizers and their employees and I give permission for those media artifacts to be used for promotion and marketing of the organization and its programs and publications with or without names and waive any rights of compensation or ownership thereto and I consent that all copyrights will belong to the organization.
Other Terms & Conditions
Inclement Weather Policy
In the event of inclement weather, the organizers reserve the right to cancel the program. Programs cancelled by Inclement weather might be non-refundable and make-up classes might be arranged on case by case basis.
Cancellation & Refund Policy
We understand things happen and you might need to withdraw. Please reach out to us at info@youthleadershipclub.com. We provide full refund (100%) for withdrawals until 25 Jun, 2019, partial refund (75%) until 5 Jul, 2019. No refunds thereafter.
